I started Therapeutic Massage Center at Kingsdale on September 13, 2008. The day before I opened the doors for my new business, there was a hurricane named Ike that swept through Central Ohio. I opened for business in Upper Arlington, OH with no electricity. I did 6 massages that day in the dark, with no AC or music (but I did sing to my clients, so there was music of some sort). Also, during that time, news was warning of a great recession, which did happen and it was a difficult time for folks financially. But through the years of black-outs, recessions, pandemics and other roadblocks, TMC Medical Massage & Movement thrives. It’s a great place to receive massage services and a fun place to work, evident in the long-term employment by many of the TMC therapists and staff.

I received my education from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio in 2004. License # 31.014014. BWC Certified Provider

Elaine is an avid gardener, both veggies and flowers. She also enjoys photographing the wildlife in her yard.

    

   

Being sent to Elaine for help with a work related injury was a God send. She professionally assessed and together we created a treatment plan to ease pain and improve mobility. Over the next several months, Elaine provided encouragement, instruction, pictures, and references to share with my healthcare providers, as I progressed along a tedious path that did finally result in surgery. Post-operatively, Elaine was supportive and stressed that the body needs time to heal in different ways for each individual and encouraged me to follow the path that worked best for me. One of the my best choices has been to continue massage on a regular basis. It’s worth it!
